Welcome to Pediatric Therapy to Geaux!

Hi there, and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Sydney and I’m an occupational therapist with a heart for helping children grow, play, and succeed in every environment—whether that’s at home, in the classroom, or out in the community. This blog is your go-to space for practical tips, creative strategies, and encouraging insights to support kids’ development in everyday life.

Why “To Geaux”?

You may have noticed we spell “go” the Louisiana way—because just like our name suggests, we’re always on the geaux! Therapy doesn’t have to happen in a clinic. Whether it’s in your living room, a bustling classroom, or at a local event, we believe support should be accessible, adaptable, and fun.

What We’re About

At Pediatric Therapy to Geaux, we blend clinical knowledge with real-life application. We know that every child is unique, and so are the people who care for them. That’s why we’re here to partner with:

  • Parents, to provide in-home tools and guidance for everyday routines and developmental milestones.

  • Teachers, with classroom-ready resources that support focus, motor skills, and sensory regulation.

  • Communities, through interactive events and outreach that make therapy approachable and engaging.

What You’ll Find Here

This blog is designed to empower, educate, and encourage. You can expect to find:

  • Simple, effective therapy tips you can use today

  • Creative activities to build motor and sensory skills

  • Strategies to ease transitions, manage behavior, and foster independence

  • Resources for classrooms and home routines

  • Event spotlights and ways we’re serving the community

Whether you’re a teacher, parent, therapist, or curious community member—we’re so happy to have you along for the journey.

Let’s grow, learn, and play together… on the geaux!

With care,
Sydney Bordelon
